As our honeysuckle teacher, Sarah is committed to helping children explore and learn in a hands-on environment. Aside from being a wife and mom, working with children and teaching has been a big part of Sarah's life. At the beginning, Sarah was a horse trainer and horseback riding instructor. Her passion and desire to teach led her to East Carolina University where she is now pursuing a degree in teaching middle grade social studies. As Sarah says, "I'm a firm believer there is something to be learned from everyone we meet and life is not about the destination, but rather the journey and adventures along the way!"
Possessing a contagious enthusiasm, Sarah has been an amazing asset for our school. Her warmth, creativity and drive makes her the perfect fit for the magnolia room! Sarah has been working in the early childhood education field since 2001. Sarah also holds an associates degree in Early Childhood Education from Harrisburg Area Community College. She then received her Bachelors of Science degree in Applied Behavioral Science-social/human services at Penn State University.
Her all around personality and love for art, Michelle is a great addition to our teaching team! She has been working with children ranging from newborn to school age for over 8 years.
