ENROLLMENT PROCESS

STEP 1: ONLINE INQUIRY

To begin the enrollment process at Little Scholars Academy of Kannapolis, please fill out the inquiry form below. We accept inquiry forms year round. Once you have filled out the inquiry form, please sign up for a virtual tour.

STEP 2: VIRTUAL TOUR

Virtual Tours are held often. Please register in advance for a virtual tour. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the tour.

STEP 3: APPLICATION

After attending a virtual tour you will be sent an application form. If you wish to continue with enrollment, please fill out the form and pay the non-refundable $25 Application Fee per student.

STEP 4: SCHOOL VISIT & CLASSROOM OBSERVATION

After filling out the LSA Application and paying your application fee, your family will be invited for a school visit and classroom observation. 


What does this look like? 

The LSA director will meet one-on-one with the family to make sure we are the best fit for your family. During this time, your child will meet an LSA teacher and be integrated into the classroom for a classroom observation. 

STEP 5: WAITLIST

After doing a school visit and classroom observation, your child will be placed on our waitlist. 


Current families begin enrolling for the next school year starting January 15. Beginning  February 1, any remaining spots will be offered to families on the waitlist in the order they were received.  If we have openings throughout the year, we reach out to families on our waitlist. 

LSA works to create a balanced classroom of gender, age and ethnic origin. Therefore, age, gender, and ethnic origin may be determining factors in the child’s placement at LSA in order to achieve this mix.

STEP 6: ACCEPTANCE

When there is an opening for your child, a notification of acceptance will be sent via brightwheel. You will have 1 week to confirm acceptance and pay the Registration Fee of $250 ($100 for each additional children).

STEP 7: CONGRATULATIONS!

A child is considered enrolled one the Registration Fee is paid and enrollment forms are completed. Congratulations and welcome to the LSA community!
